Elizabeth Griffin

I am a senior communication major at Furman University hoping to find a job in marketing, event planning, and/or non-profit work post graduation.This past summer, I interned at The Children’s Museum of the Upstate in downtown Greenville, SC as their Marketing Intern. It was a wonderful experience that taught me many of the ins and outs of marketing along with useful skills to use in an office environment. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have interned at such a fun and upbeat place and I really wouldn’t have traded the eight weeks I spent there for anything. I have a passion for people! I love meeting new people, interacting with old and new friends, and making anyone's day just a little bit better any way I can. My love of helping others fuels my passions for a career. In most aspects of my life, I look for ways to please others, so to me, a job should be no different.
